Using Stock Pulse without an account

You can search a ticker and read its hot-or-cold verdict without signing in. Searched tickers are recorded in aggregate so we can show the “Trending now” row — that record is about the ticker, not about you.

What we collect when you sign in

• Account identity: your email address and, with Google sign-in, your basic profile.
• Saved analyses and watchlist tickers you choose to keep.
• Price predictions you submit, including the target date and locked-in value.
• Portfolio holdings you enter (ticker, shares, cost basis) to compute your portfolio temperature.
• Notification preferences, such as alert frequency and unsubscribe state.
• Subscription status and billing identifiers from our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.

How we use it

To run the features you asked for: showing your saved verdicts and dashboard, tracking your portfolio, comparing your predictions to the outcome later, sending the reminders and cold-holding alerts you enabled, and managing your subscription. We do not sell your data and we do not use your holdings or predictions for advertising.

Service providers

Stock Pulse relies on third parties to operate: hosting and database/authentication infrastructure, an AI model gateway that processes the public news text used for each analysis, market-data providers for quotes, history and analyst targets, an email provider for notifications, and Stripe for payments. Ticker text sent for analysis is public market information, not your personal data.

Emails and notifications

We only email you for account, billing and the notifications you opted into. Every notification email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can change frequency or turn alerts off entirely in your portfolio settings.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account data while your account exists. You can delete individual saved analyses, watchlist entries and holdings at any time in the app. To delete your account and everything attached to it, contact us and we will remove it. Locked predictions may be retained in anonymised aggregate form so crowd statistics stay accurate.

Security

Access to your rows is restricted per user at the database level, and agent access via our MCP endpoint requires an authenticated OAuth session. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password or Google sign-in.
